The flood preventing project in the Tijuca region of Rio de Janeiro was a great challenge for our team. Terratek was responsible for the development of the entire detailed design, monitoring and on site technical support, and geotechnical investigations of all structures. In total, 3 major urban excavation projects and a long tunnel connecting the system to Guanabara Bay.
