Terratek provides dynamic load tests and integrity monitoring of large structures employing methods back up by over 30 years of continuous research and development by Prof A Jeary.
Measurements are carried out through the PIAS (Portable integrity assessment system) which measures natural vibrations of the structure due to wind, traffic, temperature. There is no need of inducing vibrations, which can be expensive.
This technology was successful employed in more than sixty large structures including dams, bridges and viaducts, offshore structures, tall buildings, towers in the UK, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Brazil.
